Our trip to Boston and Cape Cod could not have been a better time. It was jam-packed with classic touristy stuff with a little time left over to catch some rays (with sunburns to prove it! Love that about us.) We both went in as seafood haters and ended the week eating lobster and oysters. SO classy, SO Boston. Landatarianism – cured! (Landatarian… like a vegetarian, but only eating land food… no?). Everything was so fresh and delicious. Overall, we had a blast just hanging out and being with our family. There’s never a dull moment on a Muche family vacation 🙂 (scroll to the bottom for a surprise)
We had fun dressing up for the Boston scene. Check out what we wore for the week!
Day one we landed in Boston at about nine in the morning and headed to the Freedom Trail, where we saw a lot of the major historical sites.
[Berit] Top is from the Kendall & Kylie Collection at Pac Sun. It’s hard to tell in the photo, but it is a fuzzy tank-halter top. I love how 90’s it is. It also comes in black or white.
Note: you’ll see our favorite Target platform shoes that we mentioned in one of our last posts on one of us almost every day. Super comfortable, still obsessed! On Brin above.
Day two we headed to Chatham, Cape Cod. Our hotel was amazing – we stayed at the Chatham Bars Inn. They had three amazing restaurants and a beautiful view of the ocean.
[Berit] Both the sweater top and the jeans are from Free People. If you’re looking for unique jeans, peruse their website – tons of cool ones! Mine are super comfy and fit like a glove. (Target shoes:) )
[Brin] This outfit above was a total steal. I have always been a fan of bodysuits because I personally find them really flattering. This one was from the Who What Wear line found at Target. Who What Wear has been a hit lately, especially when I am looking for basic inexpensive pieces like what I am wearing above. If you shop now you can get this one for under $12!
My pants are Michael Kors but I found them at TJ Maxx; I usually splurge on pants because pants get worn so many times and I like to keep the quality up, but I wanted to get an inexpensive wide-leg pant to be sure I liked the look. I found them totally unique and fun, so I have my eye on a new pair from Pacsun or Revolve.
(Side note – Sunglasses are from Meller, this brand always has the cutest sunglass options!
A friendly hello to our brother, Keegan, and to Berit’s natural hair! Both wild and exciting!
[Berit] this is my FAVORITE jumpsuit. I wear it any excuse I get. Free People. Feat. The Target Shoes.
[Brin] Brandy Melville came out with the perfect dress for the Cape vibe. The Lillian Dress was totally comfortable and looked so adorable while I was out-and-about. I even saw a girl wearing the same dress out to lunch a few days later while in Boston!
[Berit] This gingham top is also from Free People. (Can you tell I just did a little shopping spree there?) I found these cheeky sunglasses on Amazon for about $3… I just typed in “cat eye sunglasses”. Also, I replaced my dirty Adidas and got these brand spanking new ones in all white.
[Brin] Both these pieces have already been shown on the blog, but obviously I did a little mix and matching. Find the description for where to find the pants in our (very first) debut post and the shirt in our summer haul post!
For all those brothers out there, Keegan’s shirt is from Pac Sun. I can’t find the link… find similar options here.
Excuse this blurry photo ^
[Brin] Almost as much as I love black-on-black, white-on-white is also a favorite (yet a little more balls-ey). I bought the pants from Express and especially liked these because they are an ankle dress pant. The top, unfortunately, was also an older purchase I got from Urban Outfitters this past winter, but shop their other white blouses here! I couldn’t find these Aldo loafers online (I got them in May), but here is a similar pair from Saks Off Fifth.
[Berit] I got this jumpsuit for my birthday from my mom and I love it! She gets me :’) I wore it for my 23rd birthday celebration with my friends. She got it at Topshop via Nordstrom. (You have to get it through Nordstrom – I couldn’t find it on Topshop’s website). I treated myself and got the headband at the Nordstrom Anniversary sale. I used to wear headbands all the time, but haven’t for years now. I’m trying to bring them back 🙂 Shoes are also Nordstrom during their sale. Chest sunburn is from Cape Cod.
ILY, Boston! We hope to return soon 🙂
Our parents. This is why we are the way we are. ❤
